A Bergen seafood festival held in a downtown. This is whale meat. It is covered with black pepper. Sashimi or flame-broiled is up to you. But not my love.

One Winter night I find a green light in this park.
It's a new public toilet. From the news, the design
is to let both genders stand up when using it.

Easter is around the corner. The most common
decoration is little chicks on yellow tablecloth; and chocolate too, of course.

Attack of Iraq is one-year old. Demonstrations are all over the worlds. Outside Oslo's Parliament. Verdens stoerste terroist means the world's fieriest terrorist.

Another seafood festival: besides the chilled shrimps from Greenland, the most attractive ones are these king crabs.

Aftenposten is a conservative newspaper. However, from this ad., you can see that it is trying to approach to different levels of readers.

Freia is Norway's most famous chocolate brand. The store is located on Karl Johan. The package is not as glamourous as Cova, but the taste is premium.

Primary school on Saturday afternoon, just like the
lay-back Winter here.

Telephone booth: without the technical upgrade, it will retire soon.

Used to be a government building, this has recently been renovated for residence. For a 43 squared metre apartment, it costs about 2M Krones.

2 years ago, 7-11 has a hot-dog poster featuring a cowboy with a hot dog at his crotch. Now, Narvesen's new poster has the same impact if you look closer.

April is coming, and the snow has already gone. With the fresh leaves about to blossom, there are only empty nests on the trees.

He looks like Saddam Hussein, but actually he is a
singer from Turkey. He is going to hold a concert as there are a lot of Turkish living in Oslo.

With the snow has melted, the river becomes so clear that you can find abandoned bicycles and strollers on the riverbed.

This box of tangerines only cost 20 Krones. As tangerine is Norway's Christmas fruit, it becomes very cheap afterwards. But they are too sour to eat.

X'mas presents are very important in X'mas here. When X'mas Eve comes, we put all presents under the tree, ready to be opened. Everyone have their own presents.

Like plain Christmas tree with minimal decorations.
This year, I choose 3 crystal angels from a Christmas shop. Same as every year, I only pick angels.

In Northern Europe, every child has a Christmas
calender. The parents will put tiny toys and candy inside each pocket; from Dec 1st until Dec 24th.
